  B&B, Guesthouse and Country Hotel
If you run a B&B or larger Guesthouse in town, you probably have a limit on the amount of power you can draw - residential properties are typically allowed to draw 50 or 80A.

As a Country hotel you might find the Power Supply is erratic, so your back-up Supply (generators etc) is limited.

Are the escalating costs of Inefficient Technologies like Halogen Downlighters & Floodlights, Incandescent Lights, old T8 & T12 Fluorescents, Water Boilers & High-Flow Showerheads straining your business? Then see Breaking News <---

Or does the scenario below sound familiar?

During the morning cook time you turn on the lights, start up the urns, turn on the hotplates and get the porridge on the go. Turn on the warming drawers so the plates can be warmed, on goes the oven to thaw and warm the Croissant's.Toaster on , and pow.... down goes the trip switch, again. You have had the toaster replaced, checked out and been given the Ok. Off goes the toaster for a few minutes, then you dare and up goes the trip switch.

This cycle goes on for months, then you eventually figureout that a few of the geysers are kicking-in as soon as the early risers start showering after their 5am run.

Thats if you haven't closed up shop because your guests have booked into another Establishment.

So you put some timers on the geysers to stop them kicking in between 5am and 9am.

Your late-riser guest cruises in at 10 to 9 with a grumpy face - the shower water was luke-warm.

Putting in a timer alone doesn't solve the problem, particularly if rooms share a geyser.

By putting in Solar Water Heating to feed your geyser with pre-heated water, you replenish the 5am draw with hot water. So when your 8:00 am draw occurs the water hasn't been cooled off by the 5am feed.

The bonus is that your geyser is full of warm water, so it doesn't need the element to burn electricity for long, which it would if the water was supplied cold.

The solar now has time during the day to replenish its energy store, ready for the next cycle.

Electricity savings and happy guests, and you are doing your bit for the environment too.
