DIY Plug in and Go
This system plugs in to a 15A mains socket, and provides 2 x 15A output sockets. When the Eskom supply trips it automatically switches to battery back-up. The componentry and battery are encased in a neat PC sized cabinet that can reside in your lounge or whatever and provide power to a TV, decoder and a few sidelamps for up to 3-5 hours.

Solar Powered Lighting
This system is simply connected to a light circuit in your DB Board by an electrician. Power is fed from solar panels on your roof to a battery via a charge regulator. The battery provides AC power to your lighting through an Inverter. The present Eskom power supply is rerouted to the system to provide electric back-up in times of low availability of solar power.
