Low Flow shower restrictors are able to restrict the flow of water without losing much of the power of a pressurised shower.
These small devices are the same size as the shower outlet pipe and are placed in between the showerhead and the outlet pipe.

Our flow restrictors restrict the flow to a maximum of 9 litres per minute no matter what the pressure. By contrast a normal shower can consume 15 - 20 litres per minute at our higher municipal pressures, destroying the contention that showers are always more economical than baths.
